Sanne Vloet

Sanne Vloet was born in Switzerland to Dutch parents. She spent a few of her childhood years in Zimbabwe, where her parents worked at a hospital. She went on to grow up in Donkerbroek, Netherlands.

Before fame she was a successful gymnast. While auditioning for Holland's Got Talent, she was discovered by a modeling agent at the age of 14.

Her mother and brother are extremely supportive of her modeling career, however she has kept them out of the limelight. Her mother would routinely bring her in to Amsterdam for her photo-shoots, even though it was quite out of the way the family and was proclaimed to be more enthusiastic about it than Sanne herself. She has one younger brother who is 2 years her junior.

When she was 15 she was applying for a job in a supermarket, but later turned it down in order to pursue modeling. She speaks both Dutch and English fluently, however she does have a thick Dutch accent.

Vloet broke through in the runway industry by walking for Oscar de la Renta in 2014. She has modelled on several fashion show catwalks, most notably her first appearance in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2015, and her re-casting in the 2016 and 2017 shows.

She regularly models for brands like Express, bridal brand BHLDN, and Next. She regularly walks for Badgley Mischka, Tibi, and Ralph Lauren, among others, during fashion month. In the past, she's done editorials for big name magazines such as Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, and Harper's Bazaar.

In early 2018, she had editorials in Glamour Bulgaria and Vanity Fair Italia. She has also featured regularly in the Neiman Marcus catalogue wearing a variety of brands.

2015

The 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was at Lexington Avenue Armory on November 10, 2015 in New York City. Sanne Vloet wore a dusty rose floral ensemble and was In "A Portrait of an Angel" segment of the show while The Weeknd sang. Her outfit was said to resemble a cape. To the after party she wore a sparkling gold gown. Her backstage secret was "to eat a lot of fruit and sleep well." She was in Miami when she got the call she was cast in the Fashion Show. She says she did a lot of pilates and yoga to get in shape for the catwalk.

2016

For the 2016 show, Sanne wore an all red floral combination in the Mountain Romance segment of the show. Her screentime was also one of the top five longest in that segment. During the Secret Angels segment, she wore a black lingerie set underneath a translucent black jacket.

2017

For her third show, Sanne wore one outfit in the Goddesses segment of the show in Shanghai. The outfit had a tan bodysuit beneath a pale blue dress and custom-made wings with hand-sculpted birds created by Kirk Maxson.
