Biography

Roxi Copland is an American singer-songwriter and pianist based in Austin. She has toured extensively in the United States and released four studio albums, three singles and one live album. In 2011, a writer for Seattle's Crosscut.com described her and her music as follows, "Roxi Copland is a petite powerhouse. Even when hidden behind a Baby Grand, her presence is huge thanks to a voluptuous voice and fierce piano skills."

Early life

Copland grew up in Aberdeen, Washington, where she began studying music at the age of four. Upon graduation from Aberdeen High School in 2001, she moved to Grinnell, Iowa to attend Grinnell College. Copland began her professional career in Des Moines, Iowa, where she was based from 2005 to 2011. After spending a year in Vancouver, Canada, Copland moved to Milwaukee in 2012 and Austin in 2018.
