Biography

Rostislav Yanovich Plyatt (Russian: Ростисла́в Я́нович Плятт; 13 December 1908 – 30 June 1989) was a Russian-born Soviet film and television actor. Born in Rostov-on-Don, he appeared in numerous films between 1939 and 1987, including Going Inside a Storm and Zoya. He won the People's Artist of the USSR in 1961, and State Prize winner of the USSR in 1982. He died in Moscow in 1989.
