Biography
René Mathurin Charles François Robert est un homme politique français né le à Paimpont (Bretagne) et mort le à Ploërmel (Morbihan).
Homme de loi au moment de la Révolution, il est administrateur du district puis maire de Ploërmel, à partir de 1792. Juge au tribunal civil et juge d'instruction à Ploërmel sous l'Empire, il est député du Morbihan pendant les Cent-Jours, puis de 1819 à 1824, siégeant à gauche, dans l'opposition à la Restauration.
