Pulikkodan Narayanan was one of the cruel Police Officers (Sub-Inspector) in Kerala Police. Pulikkodan (his family name) Narayanan was in charge of Perambra police station, and was specifically moved into the squad dealing with the Naxalites.
He was a brutal police officer, who supposedly tortured Rajan, an engineering student from R.E.C Calicut, in the kakkayam police camp and killed him. In the memories of Eachara Warrier, father of Rajan narrates the cruel incident like this "Pulikkodan Narayanan began kicking Rajan in his stomach with his heavy police boots. With a loud cry he fell back and writhed on the floor, then became quiet and motionless". Pulikkodan Narayanan later retired as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy.SP).
