Biography
Oren Kriegel is an American contract bridge player.
Early life and Education
Krigel grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 2016. In 2019, he began studying law at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
Bridge career
Kriegel’s bridge career began in 2013 when he played in the Youth National Bridge Championships (YNABCs). He was placed second. While at the university, in 2016, he competed and won in the North American Collegiate Championships.
After graduating in 2016, Kriegel became a professional bridge player. He has represented the US in international junior competition in 2014 and 2016 and has won a gold and a silver WBF junior medal.
His articles appear frequently on bridgewinners.com and in The Bridge World, and he has written for the ACBL Bulletin.
He currently attends Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
