Monika Wahlgren (born c. 1985) is an English-Swedish actress, who started her acting career in small theater productions in Birmingham at the Drum theatre. She modelled for a few magazines and made her first screen appearance in music videos and did her debut role in India.
She made her debut in India, in a South Indian production in 2007, Fun aur Masti.
She also went on to do several advertising campaigns in India, for big brands like Nivea, Lipton and Chennai Silks "worlds most expensive saree" worth Rs. 42 Lakhs.
Wahlgren made a guest appearance with Indian actor Govinda, in the yet to be released Hindi comedy film Naughty @ 40, which is inspired by Hollywood comedy The 40-Year-Old Virgin, as a personal request by a family friend and director, Jagmohan Mundhra.
Wahlgren was then cast in The Other End of the Line, a Hollywood production with Jesse Metcalfe, Shriya Saran, Larry Miller and Anupam Kher in the roles. It is a romantic comedy, directed by James Dodson and released in 2008. The film was co-produced by the Indian-American producer Ashok Amritraj and Patrick Aiello.
