Biography
Nélio full name Nélio da Silva Melo (born 26 January 1971) is a Brazilian footballer whi played as a midfielder.
Nélio brothers Nildeson and Gilberto were also footballers, represented El Salvador and Brazil respectively.
Career
Nélio scored three times for Haladás at Hungarian National Championship I 2000-01. He then returned to Brazil for Botafogo (SP) in August 2001.
He was signed for Botafogo (PB) in December 2001. He played at Copa do Brasil 2002 and Campeonato do Nordeste 2002, which he scored at the latter He was recoved from injury in April.
Nélio played twice for Haladás at Hungarian National Championship I 2003-04.
