Nam Joo-hyuk (born February 22, 1994) is a South Korean model and actor. He has starred in Who Are You: School 2015 (2015) and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo (2016).
Career
Nam debuted in 2013 as a model for the SONGZIO Homme Spring/Summer 2014 collection. In 2014, he appeared in the music videos of fellow YG Entertainment artist Akdong Musician, and made his acting debut with a supporting role in the tvN drama The Idle Mermaid.
In 2015, Nam gained attention in Who Are You: School 2015 but was criticized for his acting. In 2016, he played supporting roles in Cheese in the Trap as well Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, for which he received further acting criticisms. The same year, Nam became a cast member in the variety show Three Meals a Day. He then co-starred in the youth sports drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo.
In 2017, he starred in tvN's fantasy-romance series The Bride of Habaek, and was criticized for his poor acting and monotonous dialogue delivery.
Personal life
In April 2017, Nam's agency confirmed that he and model-actress Lee Sung-kyung are dating. They were both featured in Cheese in the Trap (2016) and starred in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo (2016).
