Biography
Morten Dæhlen (fødd 28. juli 1959) er ein norsk professor i informatikk og dekan ved det matematisk-naturvitskapleg fakultet ved Universitetet i Oslo.
Dæhlen tok cand.scient.-graden ved Universitetet i Oslo innanfor fagfeltet numerisk analyse i 1985. I 1989 tok han òg dr.scient.-graden i dette, òg denne ved UiO.
Dæhlen jobba som forskar ved SINTEF fram til 1998, då han gjekk over til ei stilling som professor ved Institutt for informatikk. Han har òg vore med på oppbygningen av Simula Research Laboratory.
Han har òg sete to periodar (2005-2012) som instituttleiar ved Institutt for informatikk ved Universitetet i Oslo.
