Biography

Mona Iversen or Mona Falk-Larssen (born 28 November 1959) is a Norwegian former long track speed skater, who was active in the 1970s and 1980s.

Career

Iversen represented her nation at the World Allround Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1981, finishing 21st overall. She also participated at the European Speed Skating Championships for Women in 1982, finishing 23rd overall. She also competed at other international competitions.

Between 1977 and 1983 she competed a total of seven times at the Norwegian Allround Championships and Norwegian Sprint Championships. She won the silver medal at the allround championships in 1981 and the bronze medal in 1982. She also won the bronze medal at the national sprint championships in 1982.

Personal

She married speed skater Rolf Falk-Larssen and has five children. Their daughters June Falk-Larssen and Mia Falk-Larssen are figure skaters at national level and their son Svein-Petter Falk-Larssen [no] is an ice hockey player at national level.
