Mark Ehrenfried (born 24 June 1991 in Berlin, Germany) is a German pianist. He is known in Germany and in Europe for his interpretation of Mozart, Bach and Beethoven. He has appeared in music programs and TV shows several times.
Biography
Mark Ehrenfried was born 24 June 1991 in Berlin. He was regarded as a highly gifted child, reportedly having an IQ above 130. He attempted to play a piano when he was three years old and he began to take piano lessons at the age of four, giving his first concerts. His first official concert was 26 February 1999, at age seven, in the hall of the Russian Centre in Berlin. In 2001, when he was ten years old, he recorded his first CD. Starting in 2010 he led concerts in the Berlin Philharmonic and also in the Konzerthaus at the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin.
