Biography
Pompeius Silvanus, fully Marcus Pompeius Silvanus Staberius Flavinus or Flavianus, was a Roman statesman who served as Suffect Consul in 45 and as Proconsul of Africa from 56 to 58. He was later charged for actions related to his governance but was acquitted by the Emperor. He was again elected to the consulship around the year 74.
