Konstantin Valentinovich Makarov (Russian: Константи́н Валенти́нович Мака́ров) (1931–2011) was a Soviet Navy Admiral of the Fleet
1943 - Makarov completed the naval preparatory school
1949 - Entered the Soviet Navy
1953 - Graduating from the Baltic Higher Naval School, he served aboard diesel submarines in the Black Sea Fleet
1960 - He completed the Advanced Special Officers' Course
1963 - Appointed commanding officer of a diesel submarine
1967 - Completed the Naval Academy

1971 - Chief of Staff of a Division of nuclear submarines, Northern Fleet
