Kevin Snow McCurley is a mathematician, computer scientist, and cryptographer, currently a research scientist at Google.
He received his Ph.D. in mathematics in 1981 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His early research was in number theory, investigating such topics as primes in arithmetic progression and polynomials with many initial composite values. Then he retrained himself in computer science.
A former president of the International Association for Cryptologic Research, McCurley was selected as an IACR Fellow in 2005.
