Joseph M. Smith (born January 12, 1973,) is an American actor, screenwriter, and film producer, best known for producing See This Movie (2004), Falling Up (2009), and Peepers (2010)
Life and career
Joseph M. Smith was born on 12 January 1973 in Pomona, California. He is a graduate of the American Film Institute, Los Angeles, California.
Smith made his debut in 1998, producing a short film titled The Way to Santiago, with stars Gerry Bamman, John Billingsley, and JD Cullum. In the same year, he released his next short film The Last Tzaddik, starring Chris Mulkey and Kristina Malota.
In 2004, he wrote, acted in, and produced See This Movie, starring John Cho, Seth Meyers, Raymond O'Connor, and Jessica Paré, his future-wife Jessica Paré.
His most recent production was a 2010 feature film titled Peepers with stars Joe Cobden and Janine Theriault (directed by Seth W. Owen).
Personal life
Smith was married to Canadian actress Jessica Paré from August 10, 2007, until their divorce in 2010.
