John Haack

John Haack is an American powerlifter.He is the current world record holder in the raw (without knee wraps) 181 pound weight class.He set the current world record of 1929 lbs (666.9 lb squat, 496 lb bench, 766.1 lb deadlift) on December 15, 2018 at the age of 25, beating the previous record of 1901.4 lbs held by Maliek Derstine.

He is also the 2016 International Powerlifting Federation (the major drug-tested powerlifting organization worldwide) world champion in the classic (raw without wraps) 183 lb weight class, beating the current IPF world champion Brett Gibbs with an IPF world record total of 1792.3 lbs (656.9 lb squat, 440.9 lb bench, 694.4 lb deadlift).This IPF world record has since been beaten by Brett Gibbs in the 2018 IPF world championships with a total of 1830.9 lbs.
