Jason Filardi is an American screenwriter, producer, and actor. He is best known for his works in Ricky 6 (2000,) 17 Again (2009,) and Status Update (2018.)
Early life
Filardi was born Mystic, Connecticut, and he attended Cutler Middle School in Groton, Connecticut.
Career
Filardi made his debut in the show-business in 1996, with a minor acting of a paramedic in drama film, The Craft, which was written by his elder brother, Peter Filardi.
In 2003, he wrote for the Steve Martin and Queen Latifah-starrer comedy film, Bringing Down the House. The following year, he wrote and executive-produced Taye Diggs and Gabriel Mann-starrer Drum (2004.)
In 2010, Filardi, with fellow screenwriter, Mark Perez, co-directed and co-produced the John Schneider and Carmen Electra-starrer comedy film, Back Nine.
Most recently, in 2018, he wrote the film Status Update.
Personal life
Jason's brother, Peter Filardi (born 1962) is also a screenwriter and filmmaker.
