Jaclyn Ngan (born 12 November 1986) is an American film and television actress, best known for her portrayal of "Sindy" in Freedom Writers (2007).
Career
Jaclyn Ngan was born on 12 November 1986 in Los Angeles, California. She made her debut at the age of 17 in the Paramount film Freedom Writers. She was seen playing the character of "Sindy," Cambodian refugee, in the film starring Hilary Swank, Patrick Dempsey, and Scott Glenn.
In the following year, she was seen as "Janet Lin" in the episode "Frozen" of TV series Eleventh Hour.
She has recently, in 2019, finished filming for director July Hodara's short film The Gambler; the release date is yet to be announced.
