Biography
Jaak Rakfeldt (sündinud 25. augustil 1946 Stockholmis) on eesti päritolu USA sotsiaalteadlane.
Elulugu
Lõpetas 1968 New Yorgi osariigi ülikooli psühholoogia erialal; Ph.D. (interdistsiplinaarsed sotsiaalteadused, 1983, Syracuse'i ülikool, USA), väitekiri "Transformation of Social Identity as a Function of Diversion from or Admission to a Psychiatric Hospital". 1973–1988 Mohawk Valley Community College'i psühholoogiaõppejõud (aastast 1985 professor), 1988–1995 Yale'i ülikooli psühhiaatriaosakonna õppejõud, aastast 1995 South Connecticut State University sotsiaaltöö osakonna kaasprofessor. Ajakirja Journal of Adult Development toimetuskolleegiumi liige.

Uurimisvaldkond: skisofreenia, rahvuslik identiteet. Aastast 1990 Eesti Psühholoogide Seltsi liige.
