Biography

Hugh Miller Thompson (June 5, 1830 – January 20, 1903) was the second Bishop of Mississippi. He was consecrated an assistant bishop to William Mercer Green in 1883. He became Mississippi's diocesan bishop upon Green's death in 1887. Thompson remained Mississippi's diocesan bishop until his death in 1903.
