Harry Poole (birth registered April→June 1935 — 1977) born in Castleford (birth registered in Pontefract district), was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s, and 1960s, and coach of the 1970s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Hunslet, and Hull Kingston Rovers (Captain), as a Second-row, or Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums, and coaching at club level for Castleford, and Hull Kingston Rovers.
