Gurmehar Kaur

Gurmehar Kaur is an Indian student. She is currently studying English Literature at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. She is also the ambassador for Postcards for Peace, a charitable organisation that helps eliminate any form of discrimination. Gurmehar Kaur came to news as she was a part of the ‘Save DU campaign’ following the clashes in Ramjas College in February 2017 where activists of the ABVP allegedly clashed with students, where JNU students Umar Khalid and Shehla Rashid were invited for a seminar. Earlier, she was in news due to a video released by her.
