Biography

Father Gregory Hesse (born Vienna, Austria, 1953; died 25 January 2006) was a priest, canon lawyer and Traditionalist Catholic who opposed the changes introduced to the liturgy and practices of the Church following the Second Vatican Council (1962–65).

He was associated with the Society of Saint Pius X and its founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre.

Ordained as a priest in St Peter's Basilica, Rome, in 1981, he served as secretary to Cardinal Stickler between 1986 and 1988.

He died due to complications from diabetes.
