Biography
Evie Pfeifer is an American competitive swimmer.
Early life and career
Pfeifer was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was swimming since the age of four. She is a graduate of Parkway West High School at which she represented USA Swimming Scholastic All-American two times in a row. In 2016 she participated in various backstrokes, freestyles and individual medleys at the US Olympic Trials and NCAA Swimming Championship in Omaha, Missouri. In 2017 she enrolled into the University of Texas at Austin where she competitively swam for Texas Longhorns.
In 2017 Pfeifer got 1st and 2nd place at the University of Missouri Aquatic Center.
Later career
In 2018 Pfeifer had participated at the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships which later qualified her to join Team USA.
In February of the same year Pfeifer had won Big 12 title by defeating Quinn Carrozza in a 500-yard freestyle.
Currently she swims for Clayton Shaw Park Tideriders and occasionally swims at both Maplewood Aquatic Center and Westminster Christian Academy.
Personal life
Pfeifer has a sister named Abby and mother Angela, who is married to Ian Cross, her stepfather and coach. Both her mom and her grandmother, Ardeth Mueller, are swimmers.
