Biography
RÉCSI Emil (re:ĉi) estis hungara juristo, tradukisto, redaktoro, universitata profesoro, ano korespondanta de MTA (1858) naskita en Koloĵvaro la 17-an de novembro 1822 kaj mortinta en Peŝto la 1-an de junio 1864.
Biografio
Emil Récsi havis nur 15 jarojn, kiam li doktoriĝis pri filozofio en Pest en 1837. Poste li studis juron en Kolozsvár, en 1841 li faris ekzamenon de advokato. De 1846 li instruis en Koloĵvaro, de 1848 li laboris en la ministerio pri publikedukado. Poste li denove instruis en la universitato de Peŝto juron. De 1850 ĝis 1853 li estis redaktoro de Pesti Napló. Li ankaŭ tradukis (George Sand, Eugène Sue, Dumas (filo), Thackeray kaj Dickens.
