Biography

Élisabeth Borne (born 18 April 1961) is a French senior civil servant and government official serving as Minister of Labour, Employment and Integration in the government of Prime Minister Jean Castex since 2020. She was Minister of the Ecological and Inclusive Transition (2019–2020) after serving as Minister of Transport (2017–2019) in the First and Second Philippe government. Borne previously was the chief executive officer of RATP Group, a state-owned enterprise providing services in the field of public transport, from 2015 to 2017.
