Biography
SIGMOND Elek (pro. ĵigmond) estis hungara prikemia inĝeniero, agrogeologo, teknikuniversitata profesoro, membro de MTA (k. 1915, o. 1925) naskita en Koloĵvaro la 26-an de februaro 1873 kaj mortinta en Bp. la 30-an de septembro 1939.
Biografio
Elek Sigmond estis la fondinto pri esploroj de la moderna hungara agrologio, ties interncie rekonita aganto. Li diplomiĝis en 1895 en Budapeŝto, doktoriĝis en Koloĵvaro en 1898. Li ricevis premion en 1930.
