Ed Davender (May 26, 1966 – April 28, 2016) was a former American basketball player. He was a noted streetballer, who was an elite NYC guard. He was considered to be the best NYC shooting guard throughout High School. Initially he played at Alexander Hamilton High School (New York). He averaged 29 points per game and left Hamilton High School when it closed down. He was a McDonalds All American while playing for Boys and Girls High School Ed played for the University of Kentucky Wildcats and was drafted by the Washington Bullets of the NBA in the 3rd round (#60). In 2010, he was convicted of a basketball ticket scam and was sentenced to 8 years in prison. He died on April 30, 2016, as the result of a heart attack suffered days earlier.
