Diamante Azzura Bovelli, (born 7 September 1996) better known as DIAMANTE, is a hard rock solo artist. She is best known for her single "Haunted", which was released in 2017. Diamante released her album Coming in Hot under Better Noise Records, which featured the songs "Sleepwalking" and "War Cry".

She lists Pat BenatarKelly ClarksonAvril LavigneJoan Jett, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Dorothy among her musical influences. 

Early life

Diamante was born as Diamante Azzura Bovelli on September 7, 1996, in Irvine, Orange County, California. She is of Mexican, Italian, and American heritage. She grew up in Boston and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Growing up, she was inspired by the work of J. K. Rowling and Stephen King and began writing poetry and short stories. She dabbled in musical theatre and starred in several school productions before she moved with her family to Los Angeles at the age of 13. She grew interested in rock music after a School of Rock summer program.

Musical career

In her early music career, she performed locally at small shows on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.

In 2015, aged 19, she was signed by Eleven Seven Music Group and Better Noise Records. In April that year, she released the Dirty Blonde EP under Diamond Certified Records. The single "Bite Your Kiss" from the album was released in 2014. 

In 2017, she provided backing vocals on All That Remains cover of Garth Brooks' song "The Thunder Rolls' off of their album Madness. In 2018, she provided guest vocals on the Bad Wolves song "Hear Me Now" from the band's debut album Disobey which reached #1 at active rock radio.

In Jun 2018, Diamante released her full-length debut album Coming in Hot via Better Noise Music label.

In the spring and summer of 2019, Diamante toured in support of Breaking Benjamin to further promote her album. In the fall and winter of 2019, she embarked on her first ever headline tour, the Blue Balls Holiday tour.

On January 17, 2020, she announced her departure from Better Noise Music and released the single, "Obvious". An acoustic version of the song was released on February 14, 2020. On April 17, 2020, she released the third single "Serves You Right". The following month, on May 29, 2020, she released the fourth single "Ghost Myself".

Her cover of the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" was released on July 10, 2020. It features Breaking Benjamin frontman Benjamin Burnley.
