Biography
Daisy May Cooper is an actress and writer who is best known for playing Kerry Mucklowe in the BBC Three Series This Country.
Daisy was born in Cirencester, Gloucestershire in 1986 and is the eldest of two siblings - her brother being Charlie Cooper who plays Kurtan Mucklowe in 'This Country'.
Daisy comes from an acting family, and aged 20 she enrolled in Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. After landing one role (that of a young mother in the ITV series 'Doc Martin') she left and returned to the West Country working as a cleaner with brother Charlie. For a while the siblings lived together - their experiences would later form part of the writings for 'This Country'.
In 2014, she managed to land the role of PC Garvey in the TV series 'The Wrong Mans' alongside James Corden. In the same year, the film 'Kerry' was released which would act as the basis for 'This Country'.
Due to the success of the first series of 'This Country', a second series was commissioned and should be shown on BBC Three in 2018.
In August 2017, news was announced on the Twitter account 'This Country Fanclub' that Daisy May was pregnant and expecting her first child.
