Biography
Claudia Cividino is the current CEO for North America of the Italian luxury fashion brand Loro Piana since January 2019, overseeing the brand’s business for The United States and Canada. She founded the Executive Women in Fashion Council at the Fashion Institute of Technology and was recognized by The Lupus Research Alliance with the Woman of Achievement Award in 2015 for her commitment and support for the research into and treatment of lupus.
Education
She studied Fashion Design at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Business and Marketing at the California State University, East Bay School of Business and Economics and received an International MBA in 2012 from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
Career
She was a Senior Manager for Barneys New York from 1994 to 1999, when she was appointed as Vice President of US Retail for Yves Saint Laurent from 1999 to 2007. She was also the President of ADAM from 2007 to 2009, Vice President of retail for Reed Krakoff from 2010 to 2012, Senior Vice President of Miu Miu at Prada from 2012 to 2015 and former CEO Americas for Bally from 2015 to 2019 where she led the expansion of the brand’s presence in the U.S., Canada and Latin America markets before being appointed as CEO for North America at Loro Piana in January 2019. Claudia has also worked with the Buddhist Meditation Center in New York, promoting her leadership style to help New Yorkers to transform the way they work and live.
Awards
- Cividino received in 2017 the Creative Leadership Award by Otis for her program Bally Crafting Futures, which focuses in helping the youth in need.
