Biography
Chantal Desjardins (born 1981) is a television and radio personality, stand-up comedian, voiceover actor and event host.
Most recently, Chantal could be seen hosting all of the regional Montreal Canadiens broadcasts on Sportsnet. She hosted a live half hour pregame show in studio, as well as intermissions and the post game show. She also filed daily reports on the team and hosted the occasional live broadcast from the arena.
Chantal started her career in Winnipeg as a sports anchor at Citytv before joining the Astral radio family in Montreal, first as a traffic and sports reporter, and then as a co-host on the drive home show on Virgin Radio with Mark Bergman.
Deciding that sleep was overrated, Chantal joined the CHOM 97.7 morning show as a co-host with PJ Stock and Pete Marier before eventually moving down the hall to CJAD800 to anchor the sports casts on the Aaron Rand Show every afternoon.
Chantal has also anchored for both the entertainment and sports departments at CTV Montreal.
In addition to her vast television and radio career, Chantal has been quickly rising through the comedy ranks, performing at comedy clubs, corporate events and charity fundraisers across Canada and the US.
Chantal also has a home voiceover business and has voiced hundreds of television and radio commercials, e-learning programs, audiobooks and phone systems.
