Carmen Milady Pared

Carmen Milady Pared is the mother of American actress, Michelle Rodriguez.

Carmen, originally from Dominican Republic, was married to Rafael Rodriguez, a Puerto Rico-born American army personnel. The couple lived in San Antonio, Texas, where Michelle was born on 12 July 1978.

Carmen and Rafael separated when Michelle was young. After the separation, Carmen and Michelle moved to the Dominican Republic in 1986 –– at the time, Michelle was 8 years old. After living there for three years, they moved to Puerto Rico and lived there until 1995. Eventually, they settled in Jersey City, New Jersey.
