Brooke Berry

Brooke Berry (born March 7, 1980) is a Canadian model and actress. She was the Playboy playmate in May 2000 edition.

Berry was born on March 7, 1980, in Vancouver, Canada. She's half-Japanese and half-Scandinavian, and the niece of American singer,  William Jan Berry, of the rock duo, Jan and Dean.

She moved at an early age to Homewood, California, where she attended North Tahoe High School in Tahoe City, California. Later, she majored in English at the University of California at Berkeley.

Berry began modeling while attending the University of California at Berkeley. In October 1999, she appeared in "Girls of the Pac-10" pictorial of Playboy magazine.

She was the Playmate of the Month in the May 2000 issue of Playboy magazine. The photographs were shot by renowned American photographers, Arny Freytag and Stephen Wayda.

The same year, she appeared in a Playboy video documentary titled, "Playboy Wet & Wild: Slippery When Wet," alongside fellow Playboy models including Summer Altice, Kristi Cline, Nicole Marie Lenz, and Jami Ferrell, among others.

In 2001, she was seen in Playboy's video titled, "Playboy: Playmates on the Catwalk (2001)," alongside playmates, Neferteri Shepherd, Vanessa Gleason, Carrie Stevens, and others.

In addition, she has posed for a few Playboy newsstand special editions. She was also a member of the "Playboy" X-Treme volleyball team.

Berry also plays the tenor saxophone.

When I first meet a man I notice how tall he is, how well he's built, his smile, his hair, how he dresses, his style. How he carries himself is important, too. Whether he seems confident or shy.

I'm half Japanese and half Scandinavian. Which half is more fun? I don't want to choose, but Japanese people are pretty conservative and tightly wound, in general. If I had to say which side is more fun, it's the European side.

My lifestyle is rooted in small-town mountain living, but my sexiest fantasies reflects Americana. I'm young, down-to-earth, fun loving -you know, someone you would meet next door. However, I've always wanted to have sex on a boat underneath a sky filled with thousands of fireworks. That would be really cool.

It's more important to have a good personality and to be a kind person, an educated person, than it is to look good, because that only lasts a few years. The person on the inside is going to be with you for the rest of your life. You're the person you're going to have to live with.

I like the 1960s music. The whole attitude. The sexual revolution made people more open to different experiences and more open-minded in general. I don't think free love and peace are ever going to happen. But other concepts still apply today.
