Biography
Brittany Lynne Hargest (born August 2, 1988) is an American Christian singer and dancer. She is the youngest member of the now-disbanded pop group jump5, along with her brother Brandom Hargest.
Personal life
Hargest was born on August 2, 1988, in Durham, North Carolina, to Greg Hargest and Robin Hargest. She is a Methodist. She grew up in Franklin, a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee.
Hargest is a coloratura soprano. She began singing and playing piano and guitar from the age of two. Together with her brother, she has appeared in many videos and has recorded several different compilation albums. When she was six years old, she tried her hand at the group that was to become jump5. The band was active from 2001 to 2007. One of the songs she sang with the band is "Somewhere over the Rainbow" (originally sung by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz, 1939). Not happy with her singing, she later chose to focus mostly on her dance talent. After leaving the band, she and his brother Brandon formed a pop-rock duo named Guest. In 2009, they released their first and only EP, Perfect, with three tracks: "Cover My Eyes", "Perfect", and "Final Straw".
Hargest married Kyle Prins in 2016.
