I am researching the Bells of Streamstown and Purranes. According to a marriage document of the seventeenth century, a Bell woman married an O’Gara ( spelt Gara ) from Bekan I think. This O’Gara gentleman was a descendant of the O’Gara’s of Moygara Castle. If this information is correct this couple were the parents of Archbishop Bernard O’Gara and his brother Archbishop.
