Biography
PÁTER Béla (pa:ter) estis hungara botanikisto, kuracplant-esploristo naskita en Eperjes la 4-an de septembro 1860 kaj mortinta en Kluĵo la 21-an de junio 1938.
Kariero
Páter Béla studis en la Universitato Pázmány Péter kaj li diplomiĝis en teknikuniversitato de Budapeŝto (1883). De 1894 li estis instruisto de Agrikultura Lernejinstituto de Koloĵvaro, poste rektoro de Agrikultura Akademio por kvazaŭ unu jardeko. En 1904 li fondis la unuan stacion por kuracplantesploro en Koloĵvaro, kies li estis direktoro ĝis 1931.
