Biography
Barry Wood (born 1971) is an American interior designer and television host.
Wood was born in 1971. He grew up in Connecticut. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1993 from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York. He also studied architecture in Florence, Italy, in 1991-1992.
Career
After graduation, he worked as a designer at various firms in San Francisco, Baltimore and New York City. He then became a licensed Architect and launched his own architecture firm, b.wood Architects, in New York.
In the years 2004–2007, he was featured in the forth season of TLC television series "Trading Spaces.”
In 2008-2009, he was the interior designer in HGTV’s television series "Hidden Potential".
In 2014-2015, he was an Adjunct faculty at the School of Visual Arts, in New York.
Wood's modeling work has appeared in numerous fashion editorials and print advertisements in New York, Milan, Hamburg, Miami and Los Angeles.
He has also trained and worked on camera in films, commercials and daytime television.
