Biography

Aspen Vincent (née Aspen Miller) (born 1975) is an American actress, voice actress, and pop singer. She is known for her roles in Rugrats (2003) and As Told by Ginger (2000-2009).

Early life

Aspen Vincent was born as Aspen Shena Miller in 1975 in the United Kingdom and raised in Pacific Beach, San Diego. 

Aspen started doing theater at the age of nine, and would also perform with the Christian Community Theater and Starlight Musical Theatre, as well as being called to the Sydmonton Festival. She enrolled at Chapman University to study musical therapy, dropping out in the third year due to many job offers.

Career

Aspen made her acting debut in 2000 playing the role of Dodie Bishop in Nickelodeon's Emmy-nominated TV series As Told by Ginger. She was seen in 54 episodes from 2000 to 2009.

In 2001, she lent her voice to “Amanda Payne” character in the pilot of Micah Wright's animation Constant Payne. The following year, in 2002, she was the voice behind Jingle Singer character in TV animation Rocket Power: Race Across New Zealand.

In 2003, she was the voice of “Baby Alice” character in "Mutts in a Name/Hurricane Alice" episode of Nickelodeon's TV animation series Rugrats (created by Arlene KlaskyGábor Csupó, and Paul Germain). She then did voice-over work for various characters for the Sony video game Everquest II.

Aspen sang the National Anthem for the L.A. Lakers, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and the San Diego Chargers and performed in a cappella group called Groove 66 at Disney California Adventure Park.

Early in her professional career, she was a regular in the recording studio, recording jingles and commercials, as well as providing singing voices for Disney characters for their touring productions. Aspen spent 2004-2005 in Las Vegas, performing nightly at the Paris Las Vegas as the female lead "Scaramouche" in the rock musical We Will Rock You, where she met her future husband, Tony Vincent, a singer and stage actor.

From October 2006 through October 2007, she toured with Meat Loaf as his duet partner and backup vocalist on his "Seize the Night tour", singing such hits as "I'd Do Anything for Love" and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light". She performed with him at the John Labatt Center, London, Ontario for the "3 Bats Live" concert DVD, and is featured on the documentary DVD "In Search of Paradise".

Aspen also toured with the cast of Dirty Dancing in America with her husband Tony. 

In 2010, she was a swing in Doug Hamilton's Tony award-winning Broadway production of American Idiot—a show featuring songs of the popular rock band Green Day (Billie Joe ArmstrongMike DirntTre Cool)

Personal life

Aspen was married to actor/singer Tony Vincent from 2008 to 2020. The marriage ended in a divorce. Both continue to live in Nashville, Tennessee.

From her marriage to Vincent, she has two children—Sadie Day (born April 3, 2012) and Jett Dylan (born 2018).
