Biography
Yulduz Turdiyeva (Uzbek: Yulduz Turdiyeva; Russian: Юлдуз Турдиева) is an Uzbek singer. Her music is characterized by his vocal improvisation.
Life
Turdiyeva was born near Bukhara, Uzbek SSR. At age 12, she developed a passion for traditional music and after leaving school, she went straight to The State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.
Career
In 2009, she won first place at International World of Mugham Festival after performing Karabakh Shikastasi, fret of Azerbaijani mugham.
