Biography
Liu Yangyang (Chinese: 刘扬扬, born 10 October 2000), better known by the mononym Yangyang, is a Taiwanese-German rapper, singer-songwriter and dancer. He is a member of the South Korean boy groupNCT and its sub-unit WayV.
Early life
Yangyang was born on October 10, 2000 in Taiwan. At the age of 11, he moved to Germany with his family and stayed there for 6 years.
Career
2018–present: Debut with NCT, WayV and solo activities
In December 2018, Yangyang (along with fellow then-trainees, Hendery and Xiaojun) was announced to be a part of NCT's China-based unit WayV, managed by Label V. The seven-member unit officially debuted on January 17, 2019 with their debut EP The Vision. Its lead single "Regular" was the Mandarin remake of "Regular" by NCT 127. Yangyang was featured in Imlay's "Asteroid" for his third EP, Dystopia.
