Biography
Yahel Chirinian is a French contemporary artist born in Avignon, France, in 1970. She grew up in Avignon and Rome. She later relocated to India, where she works and lives since 2000. Yahel’s formative years were spent exposed to the worlds of theatre, contemporary dance, literature and the arts where travels served as her backdrop of intellectual milieu. She studied architecture and art in Paris, Rome, and Tokyo. Yahel opened the Monsoon Heritage design studio in Goa, India in 2000.
Work
In recent years, Yahel Chirinian has created and continues to create systemic installations and sculptures. Much of her work has been commissioned by customers and private collectors in India, Lebanon, Italy, California, New York City and Paris.
Each of her creations are unique, signed and numbered. Yahel Chirinian creations and installation works are collected around the world by punters in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Milan, Venice and Rome.
The Monsoon Heritage Studio
The Monsoon Heritage design studio is a small designer studio settled in Goa by Yahel Chirinian . The studio mostly employs villager women with social difficulties who are trained as assistants, receive work, health care and education.

Monsoon Heritage creations are present in Paris, Rome, Milan, Monte Carlo, Saint Bart, Porto Cervo, Capri, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Oman, Qatar, Dabi, New Delhi, Bombay and Goa. Monsoon Heritage collaborates with architects and interior decorators in United States, France, Spain, Italy, Lebanon and India - including hotels, spas and lounges projects
