Biography
Wura-Natasha Oguni (born 1970) is an artist and performer based in Austin, Texas and Lagos, Nigeria; she is of Nigerian descent. She has been a visiting lecturer at the Center for Art of Africa and its Diasporas (CAAD) at the University of Texas at Austin. Her work addresses the landscape, cultural flow and implications of women in the public space of Lagos. She was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship in 2012.
