The details

WilliefromtheDrive, whose real name is William Andrew Willard, is a American Hip Hop artist, songwriter, Social media Influencer, Entertainer, and Entrepreneur. Early Life, He was born on  January 5th, 1997 in Hempstead, Long Island. He grew up in Hempstead all his life on Martin Luther King Drive, known as the Bricks/D-Block as an only child with just his mother. Willie started his career early on making music early on in his life but said it never really stuck with him but was just a natural thing. He leaned more to the business side of things, attending Nassau community college directly after graduating Hempstead High School in 2015. Willie said that he learned everything he needed, before achieving his associates degree and dropped out of college to pursue all his dreams.

After realizing he could use music which was a natural passion willie started too focus more on how he could use what he learned in college to market his music career. He started a overnight warehouse job directly after dropping out of college and started writing rhymes over night but felt like he was always missing something and never recorded a song while there. The job started to take a toll on his body due to working outside in the harsh weather some days and he ended up getting sick. So sick that he felt like he was on the verge of death. During that time he said he the girl he was in a relationship with never came to see him, neither friends. He lost his job, went broke and almost lost his sanity. He turned deeper to the streets for closure.

With consistent trouble, he learned that the streets don't love nobody either and tried to make his way out. Linking up with different organizations for youth development like COTA, Reign4Life, and Visions 2 Opportunity became the norm for him. Willie started breaking his shell once he began hosting open mic events at the African American Museum in Hempstead Long Island. He had stars Like Chow Lee perform there and even started performing himself showcasing he was able to really make music. Sadly it all came too an end when Reign4life lost funding, and he was running out of funds to host the events. He could be seen outside of Walmart begging for change for his events to continue but it wasn't enough, no one saw the vision, and Willie ended up back in the streets even deeper than before.

Willie may have been involved into the street life for a while but those who know him knew he would overcome whatever had him locked in. His friends started sending him videos about businesses and going with him to the gym, helping Willie see a different side of things, he finally started a car rental company, and left the streets completely. He started funding his music career off of his car rental company. He dropped a mixtape on Youtube. hosted by Lyrical bricks page called “ Till My Casket Drops ” August 27 2021 and gained a nice buzzing in his City. He did the Dirty Glove Interview and dropped his most famous video “ Cuz of you ” On Worldstar Hip hop earlier that year in tribute to his friend that passed Jonathan Mingo aka "Jming" .

Willie took a short break from music until the summer 2022 when the passing of Rari Runitups brother took place. Willie has from there on been dropping more music than ever and more videos in a year. 2022, Willie dropped a total of 5 music videos, even one featuring social media Influencer, Ashley Bautista for his hit single “ Now that I'm On “. Starrmazi who shot videos with A boogie, Lola Brooke, Don q, Dusty Locane, Steph G, jmb juvie and many more was the director and videographer. Willie has started off the year stronger than ever before releasing his project ” Lose Until You Win ” On his birthday. He dropped a video as well to the song “ Forget You ” off of the project that StarrMazi shot again. Willie is going into this year aggressive and in our eyes might be the best rapper on Long Island NY.
