Biography
Willem du Plessis (born 4 September 1955) is a former South African rugby union player.
Playing career
Du Plessis played for Western Province and the Springboks. He made his test debut against the visiting South American Jaguars team on 26 April 1980 and in so doing became the 500th Springbok rugby player. Capped 14 times, he scored 3 tries for the Springboks.
