Biography
William Everett Scotten (1904–1958) was an American diplomat. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 24, 1904. Served as U.S. vice consul in Ciudad Juarez during 1929, and as consul in Saigon from 1931 to 1932. Later he went to Hong Kong where he got married to Josephina Bryant in 1933. In 1938 he served in Palermo. During the Second World War he was posted to Morocco. He retired in Orange County, California, where he died in on 27 November 1958.
