Biography
Wilhelm Hermann Rudolf Flottmann (* 13. Juni 1812 in Malchow; † 1891) war ein deutscher Verwaltungsbeamter, Landrat und Rittergutsbesitzer.
Leben
Wilhelm Flottmann wurde als Sohn eines Rittergutsbesitzers auf Rathstock bei Frankfurt (Oder) geboren. Nach dem Besuch des Gymnasium zum Grauen Kloster in Berlin studierte er Rechtswissenschaften. 1834 wurde er Mitglied des Corps Borussia Bonn. 1835 schloss er sich dem Corps Vandalia Rostock an. Nach dem Studium trat er in den Staatsdienst ein. Von 1847 bis 1849 war er Landrat des Landkreises Landsberg (Warthe). Als Landrat a. D. lebte er zuletzt in Sophienhof in Mecklenburg.
