Warren Jabali

Warren Jabali, born Warren Edward Armstrong, was an American professional basketball player. He was best known for his time in the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a guard and was considered one of the league's top defensive players.

Jabali was selected to the ABA All-Star team three times in his career (1969, 1970, 1971) and was named the ABA Playoffs MVP in 1971. He also won two ABA championships, one with the Oakland Oaks in 1969 and another with the Indiana Pacers in 1973.

Jabali played for several ABA teams during his career, including the Oakland Oaks, Denver Rockets, San Diego Conquistadors, and Indiana Pacers.

Jabali was known for his aggressive and physical style of play. He was an excellent defensive player and was often tasked with guarding the opposing team's best scorer. Jabali was also known for his versatility, as he could play both guard and forward positions.

Jabali is often remembered as one of the greatest players in ABA history. He was known for his toughness, defensive prowess, and leadership on the court. Jabali's contributions to the ABA helped establish the league as a legitimate competitor to the NBA. He was posthumously inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
