Vivian Gonzalez (born 23 March 1983) is an American television meteorologist currently working with FOX affiliate WSVN 7 News in Miami, Florida. She became WSVN's Morning Meteorologist in November 2012.
Early life and education
Gonzalez was born on March 23, 1983, in Miami, Florida. She has a twin sister, Lilian Gonzalez.
Gonzalez attended the Monsignor Edward Pace High School in Miami. She then attended Florida International University, graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, with minor in Mathematics and Spanish.
Later, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences from Mississippi State University.
Career
In 2005, Gonzalez joined 7News as a Weather Producer in the midst of the most active hurricane season on record. In 2007, she was promoted to Weather Anchor for "Today In Florida" Saturday Edition. In November 2012, she became WSVN's Morning Meteorologist.
She's a member of The National Weather Association and American Meteorological Society.
Gonzalez supports La Liga Contra El Cancer and participates with the Community Partnership for the Homeless and Habitat for Humanity.
Personal life
Gonzalez is married to her husband Jorge Gonzalez since 2010. The couple has a daughter, Emma (born 2017.)
